Situated amidst breathtaking hills and mountains, it offered a picturesque setting for our outdoor adventures. We enjoyed thrilling mountaineering and hill walking trips to nearby villages, where we savored mouthwatering, authentic Cretan cuisine. The kids absolutely loved exploring the unspoilt beauty of the area, and we found deserted beaches for endless fun in the sun. The staff, especially Sue and Iris, were incredibly friendly and gave us valuable recommendations for our excursions. It was truly a memorable vacation that we would love to repeat!
My children wanted a dedicated play area for kids.

Had an amazing New Year's stay! Loved the cozy and well-equipped cottages, including the kitchen and bathroom. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The cottages offered a nice and quiet getaway for the holiday.
It would have been better if there were more amenities nearby, as it was a bit of a distance to town and there wasn't much in the welcome pack. , the walk to town was not suitable for children, as it was unlit and required a car or someone accustomed to long walks.

We had a wonderful stay at a rustic, minimalist holiday house in Crete. The location was outstanding, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to both the seaside town and a charming mountain village. The property itself was high-class, clean, and stylish, exceeding our expectations. One of the highlights was the helpfulness of Helen, the receptionist, who recommended amazing places and local tavernas. We were also impressed by the delicious food, especially at the Grikkhouse Makis and the coffee place nearby for the best Frappe's ever. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, such as an untrimmed shrub obstructing our view and the lack of on-site breakfast, overall, we highly recommend this place for a couple's holiday. It truly is a magical place that we can't wait to return to.

The location of the cottages is perfect, as it is just a short walk down to the village where you can find a great sandy beach. There are also many tavernas along the beach promenade that offer delicious meals. Additionally, the cottages serve as a good starting point for various trips, with many gorges to explore in the area.
The only aspect that could be improved is the price point, as some guests felt that the cottages were overpriced for the amenities provided.
